The Cover of Our Book, Eureka: 501 Adventure Plots to Inspire Game Masters, Revealed!
One of the things I’ve been waiting for ever since we first started work on Gnome Stew’s upcoming book, Eureka: 501 Plots to Inspire Game Masters, is being able to share the cover with you.
Here she is:

(Click on the image for a larger version.)
Eureka’s cover features artwork by Andrew McIntosh (who also did some stunning interior pieces for the book), graphic design by Darren Hardy, and art direction by John Arcadian. You can read bios for all three of these awesome folks on the Engine Publishing website.
The book is due out before GenCon, and will be available in print and PDF. The moment we start taking preorders, you’ll hear about it here on the Stew!
Today is Gnome Stew’s second birthday, and I can’t think of a better way to celebrate. If you have comments or questions about the cover, fire away!
Our second book, Masks: 1,000 Memorable NPCs for Any Roleplaying Game, is now available in print and PDF!
Reviewing Masks, RPG Blog II said, "Masks is a system-neutral, well-organized treasury of memorable, easy-to-use NPCs that will add to any Game Master’s arsenal."
Buy Masks now and start using it in your game tonight!

Thanks for your interest!
@davethegame – Neither can we! No one told me this would involve so much work — gnomes are lazy creatures by nature.
@rocketlettuce – We’ll have samples from the fantasy chapter up next week!
@mougoo, @jeff – Preorders will be announced here on the Stew, and sold through Engine Publishing.
There’s really only one thing left to sort out before we can take preorders: setting up the emcommerce side of the Engine site. I wasn’t planning to do that until closer to publication, but I may rethink that based on your comments!

That’s what I get for responding past my bedtime: The other good reason we’ve held off on opening preorders is because we want to have the PDF available to bundle with the print edition. That’s still a little ways out, though approaching quickly. Sorry I wasn’t more clear-headed last night!
