How to Submit an Article Proposal

We’ve kept the submission process simple, but every step is important — please read this list carefully!

1. Send a brief email proposal. Please send a one-paragraph proposal for a system-neutral, game master-oriented article to martin (at) gnomestew (dot) com with the subject line “Gnome Stew article proposal.”
2. Wait for a reply. We’ll respond as soon as possible, but don’t panic if it takes a little while (or even a long while).
3. If we said yes, email us your article. Please send your edited, proofread, ready-to-publish article as a plain text (.txt) attachment to the same email address. Tell us how to credit you in the article. In your email, please state the following: “I grant Gnome Stew the unlimited, non-exclusive right to publish this article on GnomeStew.com. I understand that I will not be compensated for my article.”
4. Make revisions if needed. We may ask you to revise your article, or we may revise it and send you the new version to look over before publication.

That’s all there is to it! It doesn’t matter whether this is the first thing you’ve ever written about gaming or the 500th, or whether you’re an RPG blogger or a gamer who enjoys gaming blogs — if you have a good idea, and you can convey it well, we’re interested!

By submitting an article proposal, you grant Gnome Stew the unlimited, non-exclusive right to publish your article on GnomeStew.com in perpetuity. That means you can post or otherwise use your article elsewhere, but we can keep it posted here forever.
