		<description>I agree the NWoD Hunter is nothing like the old one.  I found the old versions sort of &quot;charged by the divine,&quot; or whatever it was that gave the characters their abilities, vibe to be very interesting.  I could mold it into a sort of &quot;supernatural immune response&quot; of the human race regarding the other supernatural forces.  The NWoD version has information on how the real world responds to heavily armed people who claim to be killing monsters (short version), and I like that, but it is a very different vibe.

Wraith had lots of potential to be a really fascinating game, but had some serious problems (touched on in the article).  I&#039;m pleased that there will be a new one that deals with ghosts and what-not. I got the free RPG day previwe of Geist though, and I immediately saw the difference between the two. Yet the potential was still there with added direction and guidance. I began thinking &quot;This game I could run.&quot;

I haven&#039;t played or read any of the nWoD titles. Like D&amp;D 3.x I have skipped them completely focusing on smaller game publishers and more obscure titles. But between the preview and this review I am tempted to place a pre-order for Geist.
