That's not a death dragon on the cover; it's Amethyst himself. Just FYI.
Reply

I love to see adventures that force hard moral choices and war is a good place to do it. I did a game set a superhero game in the Vietnam War. In the last session the character were ordered to killed a martial arts master who was training the enemy and destroy his school. They discovered that he was actually a kindly old man who was training those who wanted to use the skills against the US army. He was also training many who did not want to do that and he always instructed his students to use their abilities for defense. They spent most of the session in an internal discussion, wondering if they could or should carry out the orders.
Reply

I like the look of the character classes and powers as far as 'modern' flavour goes; hopefully get a chance to run/play this module before the summer ends. It's a little disappointing that the EDF lark only works one way, but I am a massive fan of Arcanum so the idea of sufficiently advanced scienticians(*) disrupting the arcane powers (and vice versa) appeals.

(*) - That's a technical term for students of the scientific arts. Honest.
Reply

Sounds like a very interesting world. It sounds like it avoids the Shadowrun magic/technology escalation by making technology fragile, which should give it a unique feel.

The setting sounds a bit like Rifts or TORG, but it sounds like the system fits me better. I'll be sure to keep an eye out when it's released.
Reply
