Man, I loved Arak, Son of Thunder when I was a kid. I knew about him before I knew about Conan.

I wonder how much a full run costs on Ebay....
Reply

I actually have a Centaur tribe that runs around north of one of my main playing areas, the Thunderers' Tribe, headed by the huge and grizzled Krandarth Wheeless. They have a Blue Turtle Warrior named Bernadette who is travelling with them right now.
And they are a posible PC race, as well.
Reply

Glad to hear, Scott.

For what's it's worth, centaurs need not be played within the same context as their historical antecedents. (i.e., the first cultures to domesticate the horse. Their enemies saw what they wanted, not men astride horses but creatures that were half-man/half-horse).

I would think that centaurs have an almost limitless potential. I'm not the only one who must think that way. In Monte Cook's Ptolus, centaurs are even a PC race.
<a href="#" class="replyto" onclick="replyto('2877','Troy E.
I've never really worked Centaurs in as a major culture-- or even a big encounter in any games. It sounds like this article is interesting enough to make me reconsider that.
Reply
