Gnome Stew is Sponsoring Open Game Table, Volume 2

Along with Engine Publishing, which will be putting out Gnome Stew’s upcoming book, Eureka: 501 Adventure Plots to Inspire Game Masters, and Silvervine Games, the RPG company founded by gnome and Eureka author John Arcadian, the Stew is proud to be a sponsor of Open Game Table: The Anthology of Roleplaying Game Blogs, Volume 2. (Say that 10 times fast!)

Open Game Table is the second in a series of books published by Jonathan Jacobs (who also runs Nevermet Press) that aims to bridge the gap between gamers who get their gaming advice (etc.) online — IE, you, Gnome Stew readers! — and those who don’t, and needless to say this is a mission we fully support.

The articles that appear in OGTv2 were suggested by fans and RPG bloggers and selected through a peer review process. Gnome Stew is lucky enough to have several articles in Volume 2, and that’s one of the reasons we’re sponsoring the book.

Apart from that, we also dug the first volume, Open Game Table, Volume 1, we like the idea of exposing the Stew to a more GMs, and we want to see the folks who contributed to this book get a free print (as opposed to PDF) copy. Because it’s a community effort, and because 77 contributors (!) were involved, Nevermet is raising money to send contributors a print copy through sponsorships.

We’re looking forward to the book, and we hope you enjoy Gnome Stew’s close-up of floppy halfling dicks very mature, minimalist ad.

Masks: The Ultimate NPC Resource for Any RPG

Our second book, Masks: 1,000 Memorable NPCs for Any Roleplaying Game, is now available in print and PDF!

Reviewing Masks, RPG Blog II said, "Masks is a system-neutral, well-organized treasury of memorable, easy-to-use NPCs that will add to any Game Master’s arsenal."

Buy Masks now and start using it in your game tonight!

  1. Small clarification —

Although we appreciate the link love (!)… Nevermet Press is not publishing Open Game Table. It’s something I’m doing “myself”… as in.. with the help of 70+ volunteers and sponsors! Like you! and all those other cool cats!

    THANKS AGAIN MARTIN & JOHN!

(but OGT is not a NMP product, fyi)

  2. Fixinated! Sorry about that, Jonathan — the link on the NMP site, and my own assumptions, led me to make the wrong final assumption. ;-)

This is a great cause, and it’s going to be a great book.
