Happy GM’s Day! As part of Gnome Stew’s March 4th blitz, we’re holding our third contest.
We thought, “What does every GM need?” And the answer was “A set of badass metal dice.”
The Prize
Specifically, a set of 16mm solid metal polyhedral dice with a brushed steel finish from Crystal Caste.
Crystal Caste makes great dice, and these puppies are $45 — they’re not your grandpa’s worn, un-inked plastic nuggets.
Sure, they’re called “Dwarven Stones” — but it’s a little-known fact that dwarves actually can’t forge for shit. These are Gnomish Stones, my friend.
And they’re dead sexy:

How to Enter
We like to make our contests easy to enter — all you have to do is comment on this article, and you’ll be entered to win.
To comment, you’ll need to have a Gnome Stew account. If you don’t already have one, you can register here.
One entry per person, and as always Gnome Stew authors are not eligible to win. You’re welcome to comment more than once, but only the first one will count.
Winning
This contest will end at 7:15 am Mountain time on Tuesday, March 10th. The winner will be chosen at random, and we’ll announce the proud owner of these dice in a separate article.
The lucky winner will be contacted by email, so make sure your Gnome Stew account is tied to your actual email address.
That’s all there is to it. We wish everyone who enters the best of luck, and we can’t wait to give away this set of dice!

Very nice, I’d probably get distracted every time I roll, though ^_^;;

The last time I had metal dice of any sort was back in the 80′s. Very thin copper over cheap plastic that somehow wound up peeling. Corroded just by handling them.
It would be nice to have some quality metal dice.
Thanks.

Metal dice are always fun, although I’d have to game on a less valuable table if i wanted to actually use them.

Extremely neat! I already have loads of dice, but metal ones are supercool; my Games club will be so jealous it hurts. I might even volunteer to run a game, even if I am a stick in the mud 1e merchant!

These would look great with my amethyst dice! I probably shouldn’t keep them in the same bag or I’ll end up with a spell component (ground amethyst) and some metal dice : 0 )

Free Dice!!!
Sign me up! I love Crystal Caste dice! They’ll go great with my two hematite sets, my Heavy Metal d20 and my numerous other Crystal dice. You know what they say. You can NEVER have enough dice. Especially metal dice.
We love your site as much as we love dice! You know what they say about gnomes after all. You can never have enough gnomes for they are crunchy and tasty with ketchup. Or is that dragons?

My old dice keep producing unpleasant crits so I could really use these. And they’re shiny!

I would love a set of these Dice. I’ve been looking at them for a long time (it’s tough to decide between brushed steel and Bronze, I”m leaning toward Bronze) and intend to buy some. Winning them is even better.

One of my players has a set. They are so badass that they ding the table when you roll. We had to get a rolling mat just for these dice.

I’ll take a shot at those dice. Please Please…….
