About a year or so ago I started playing in a group where the DM had a set of the old Tact-Tiles. I loved the way you can just pull the ones of the end, slide them all down, and then add them to the top. That way the DM can always have the current action closest to him. Also, after the game was over, you could just dissasemble them and store them easily on a shelf. Sure beats rolling up a poster size BattleMat.
